Pardon the Yo Gabba Gabba reference. It's Monday, an ice storm is coming, and I need more coffee. But I wanted to share this excellent article called 21 Creative Ways to Increase Your Facebook Fanbasefrom Social Media Examiner.
Now, it's from April 2010, which means it pre-dates the evolution from Fan Page to Local Business Page. But it's still incredibly relevant, and the main takeway is this: if you build it, they won't just come on their own.
